Alessandra Cantini is an Assistant Professor at the School of Management of Politecnico di Milano.

She teaches “Innovation in Action Lab” to Master’s students in Management Engineering (at the Milan campus) and “Gestione dei Sistemi Logistici e Produttivi” to Bachelor’s students (at the Lecco campus).

She conducts her research in the field of Operational Excellence as a member of the OPEX Centre and she is the author of over 40 papers published in international journals and conferences. Her research interests include spare parts management, inventory management, additive manufacturing, and explainable artificial intelligence.

Finally, she is part of the Organizing Committee of the COPERMAN Conference (www.coperman.org).
