She holds a PhD in Business and Behavioral Sciences from the “G. d’Annunzio” University of Chieti-Pescara, with a thesis on moral leadership and social identity.
Her research focuses on gender stereotypes, financial behavior, entrepreneurship, and moral leadership. She has participated in national and international research projects (PRIN, CARIPLO, EU Horizon) and published in leading journals such as The Leadership Quarterly, Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Economics, and Frontiers in Psychology.
Dr. Giannella’s teaching activities range from social and organizational psychology to leadership and behavioral finance at various Italian universities. She is an active member of international research networks, including the Society for Personality and Social Psychology (SPSP) and the European Association of Social Psychology (EASP).
